George Soros Funding Extreme Activists To Head Up Campus Protests

(FeaturedHeadlines.com) Liberal megadonor George Soros is funding multiple activists who are leading nationwide college protests against Israel.

The Soros-funded US Campaign for Palestinian Rights (USCPR), funded at least three protesters who are currently rallying in top colleges of the country.

Since 2017, the left-leaning USCPR has received more than $655,000 funding from Soros-backed Open Society Foundations and the Rockefeller Brothers Fund.

The group pays $7,800 to community-based fellows while $2,880 to $3,660 to campus-based fellows for protesting eight hours a week in favor of Palestine. The radical organization also instructs its fellows to champion revolution and reject any efforts of gradual reforms.

One of these activists, Nidaa Lafi, who also worked with the late Democratic Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson, was spotted giving a speech at the University of Texas. Lafi has also served as the president of the University of Texas Students for Justice in Palestine and is currently enrolled in a law program at another university. In January, she was also arrested for blocking a route of President Biden’s motorcade.

Craig Birckhead-Morton, another activist of the Soros-backed group, was arrested on the charges of trespassing at Yale University after he occupied the college’s Beinecke Plaza. He has previously served as an intern to the Democratic Congressman John Sarbanes.

Another left-leaning activist funded by Soros, Malak Afaneh, is mobilizing the crowd at the University of California, Berkeley, and asking the college to denounce Israel’s attacks on Gaza and cut off its ties with groups involved in the “apartheid.” Afaneh also protested at the home of the Jewish dean of the university, Erwin Chemerinsky, who arranged a dinner at his residence where Afaneh held a microphone to protest against Israel.

Chemerinsky and his wife, also a professor at the UC, confronted Afaneh and removed her from their house. After this event, Afaneh claimed that she was discriminated against due to her visible Muslim identity, while Chemerinsky said he has received multiple death threats since then.
