(FeaturedHeadlines.com) President Joe Biden promoted a far-left activist from his job in the Interior Department to serve inside the White House in a key communication role.
Tyler Cherry worked in the US Department of Interior for more than three years but has now been elevated to the position of the White House associate communications director.
Cherry has long held controversial beliefs regarding the Republican Party, police, border enforcement teams, and Israel.
After the death of Freddie Gray in 2015 in police custody, Cherry noted that he is praying for the end of the police, which drives its actions from racial biases. He also tried to dehumanize the police force and called them “lynch mobs” and “slave patrols.”
Cherry also advocated for the elimination of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), which is majorly responsible for stopping illegal immigration, human trafficking, and smuggling.
The controversial official also prayed for an end to the “occupation of Palestine” after the 2014 Hamas attacks on Israel, which urged Israel to launch a counter-offensive in Gaza. Apart from that, he has also been involved in anti-Republican rants and accused the GOP of doing “white grievance politics.”
Cherry is not the only government official who holds extreme views regarding the US law enforcement departments. His views align with a broader far-left narrative that has been pushing for police defunding and the complete overhaul of the existing border forces.
Meanwhile, the White House senior communication official, Andrew Bates, suggested that they proudly welcome Cherry to the team.
Biden’s White House welcomes Cherry at a time when the United States is already witnessing controversies in those domains where he made extreme remarks. The country is currently grappling with an unprecedented illegal immigration crisis while also seeing a border Middle East conflict between Israel and Palestine.
Some political insiders believe that Cherry will be the perfect addition to the already radicalized White House, which is trying to pursue far-left agendas virtually everywhere.
