Navy Sailor Caught Trying to Obtain Biden Health Records

(FeaturedHeadlines.com) US President Joe Biden’s health came under increased scrutiny after a dismal debate performance against Republican challenger Donald Trump, including speculation that he could be suffering from a disease like Parkinson’s. However, a Navy servicemember was ahead of the curve and attempted to access Biden’s medical records multiple times in February 2024.

The junior enlisted sailor, who served in the Navy hospital corps at Fort Belvoir in Virginia, tried to gain access to Biden’s medical records three times. The sailor never successfully accessed the president’s records, instead finding the files of a man who shares a name with him. Nevertheless, his attempts caught the attention of a coworker, who reported the activity.

The Naval Criminal Investigative Service began looking into the attempted breaches in February and concluded their probe in April. The sailor told investigators that he tried to access Biden’s medical records out of curiosity.

The White House was informed of the sailor’s attempts to access the president’s medical files. Biden’s physical in February was not impacted by the incident, according to a White House official.

The sailor faced administrative discipline for his actions. However, the sailor was permitted to continue serving in the Navy.

Although the sailor attempted to snoop on Biden’s medical records in February, public interest in the president’s health increased after his June 27 debate with Trump. Biden’s strange behavior during the debate sparked concerns among Democrats and Republicans alike about his fitness to serve as president for another four years.

Biden, 81, is already the oldest president in US history and would be 86 by the end of a second term in the White House. During the debate, Trump called on Biden to take a cognitive exam, claiming to have passed two himself.

Biden’s doctor claims that he is fit to serve as president, but clearly people like the sailor and many members of the general public are not convinced by his assessment. Perhaps the scrutiny will compel the White House to release Biden’s records in an attempt to ease concerns, instead of keeping the truth hidden.
